Nestled into the rolling meadows and forests of Media, Pennsylvania, Tyler Arboretum offers unparalleled pastoral beauty and historic charm
Tyler Arboretum is a gorgeous expanse of pristine woodlands, wildflower meadows, winding stream valleys, and butterfly-filled gardens nestled into the green rolling hills just 30 minutes west of Philadelphia. Among the historic structures preserved here, the centerpiece is a handsome stone-bank barn set into the grassy hillside, now outfitted for events and celebrations with tented flagstone patios, airy banquet rooms, private green room suites, and a rustic party loft with exposed beams and sliding barn doors.
A place to engage and reconnect with nature
Over two centuries in the making, Tyler Arboretum today operates as a non-profit public garden dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich horticulture, history, and nature of this lovely corner of Pennsylvania. JAM’s partnership here contributes additional revenue used to care for the protected land, preserve its historic buildings, and fund educational programs, from summer camps and hands-on nature workshops to horticultural exhibits and "eco-birthday parties" for kids. It's a wonderful, beautiful place dedicated to re-connecting people with the natural world—and that’s a mission we’re thrilled to support!
